Louie, Male Rottweiler for adoption (adopted July 2009)
Update Jul 27 2009: Louis is adopted to his forever home!
Louie is a five year old neutered Rottweiler, who was originally rescued after Hurricane Katrina. He is a loving dog who would like to have a family who will take him for walks, be an indoor dog and be part of the family. Louie is housebroken and good with people. He is a gentle dog and enjoys being a ‘couch potato'. He is good with children. He is good with other dogs, but he can show some aggression towards strange dogs, so he needs to be on a leash when walked and he needs a good fenced yard. He is also not good with livestock or poultry and he probably wouldn’t be good with cats. He lived in a household with other dogs and was fine with them. Louie has lovely mahogany markings and very nice head. He is a sweet boy, waiting for his forever home! Please apply for Louie today and give him the love and attention this dog so much deserves.
