Rally ObedienceRally Obedience (Rally O) is a great sport to enjoy with your dog and a wonderful introduction into more formal obedience. Rally is timed, and consists of various signs placed around the course. These signs give obedience instructions. For example, in Rally Novice your dog is on leash, you start off heeling from the start sign to the first sign, which might instruct you to sit your dog, stand your dog, and then sit your dog. You will then heel on to the next sign. The great thing about Rally is that you can talk to and encourage your dog every step of the way. It is a fantastic opportunity to bond with your dog and get ready for more advanced obedience. Rally works very well for someone just starting out and it is also great for an older dog that may have done obedience in the past or just needs to have some fun. | |||
